Some students need a different environment to show what they're capable of.

Small steps. Brave growth.

You know the students we mean. The ones you are still thinking about at the end of the day. Brave Steps is build specifically for them, the students who are ready for something that actually gets through — outdoor challenge, genuine connection, and frameworks they carry back into the classroom.

WHO WE ARE

More than outdoor activities

Brave Steps is a practical, relationship-first outdoor intervention program that works directly with schools to support students who are struggling to engage, connect, or believe in themselves.

We are a two-person team with over five years working with thousands of students in outdoor settings — and we have learned that the students hardest to reach in the classroom are often the ones most ready to surprise everyone, including themselves, when the environment changes.

We use outdoor challenge to unlock something in students that the classroom alone can't always reach.

Our role is not to fix what teachers haven't been able to fix — it is to give students (and teachers) a specialist tool that takes weight off their shoulders and creates the shift that makes their work easier.

TESTIMONIALS

What our clients say

Luke has an incredible way of pushing young people just outside their comfort zone while making them feel completely safe and supported. You can tell he genuinely believes in what he does
Brave Steps is what our kid needed. Luke has a real gift for building confidence. Watching the our son complete the climbing challenge and seeing his face afterwards was incredible — that belief in “I can do hard things” really came through.
That was amazing! The Kids loved it. Luke brings so much positive energy to every session. Whether it was climbing or team challenges, he made sure every young person felt included and capable.
